Product Tests—Non-Food
Testing products and ideas as diverse as the people who use them, is one of the reasons we enjoy our job. One such test involved a software company who had developed a new software package designed to assist consumers in editing and printing their digital photos. 

When they came to us, we set up a screening that involved consumers who own a digital camera and who were willing to try new software. Each qualified consumer was sent the software and other related material along with a detailed evaluation survey.

The results showed the company where the software needed to be improved prior to introduction, in addition to areas where the software performed very well  for use in advertising.
